A dreamlike, experimental documentary that explores the music made by the Senegalese Sufi sub-sect called Baye Fall. Featuring little to no dialogue, it instead seeks to visually and sonically explore the rich spiritual landscape of the West African nation. An ethnomusicology film shot entirely on VHS that embodies the trance-like qualities of this community’s music, dancing and customs.
