The son of a Hindu priest, Dakta Dub is a DJ, radio host and reggae selector who is devoted to a singular project: building Hyderabad's first Jamaican-inspired spiritual sound system in one of India's largest and most culturally diverse cities. Through sessions, gatherings and everyday challenges, “Sound System Sanskriti” follows a community that has embraced sound system culture as a space for listening, togetherness and collective meditation, exploring the unexpected connections between Indian spiritual traditions and Rastafari philosophy.
