Friends since childhood, Omar and Cedric is a portrait of the story and history of a brotherhood through the decades via VHS home recordings and never before seen footage that die-hard fans will wonder just how it materialized. Having formed a pact between them long before fame arrived at their doorstep with the successes of their bands At The Drive In and Mars Volta, the two Latino outcasts from El Paso, Texas promised that, if things ever got weird, they would re-evaluate their actions and decisions in benefit of the friendship between them. With this promise, they faced and survived the grief of close friends who passed, conflicts with innumerous band members, and religious cults that nearly broke their pact apart.
